Hi, I’m Emmi Reid — the artist behind the portraits.
Art has been a huge part of my life since I was a small child, and when anyone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up the answer was always “Artist!” So thank you so much for being here and making my dream possible!
I started drawing pet portraits for friends and family a few years ago and developed a distinct style of my own. I love adding lots of color to my portraits and have been told my pet drawings look like they have “sprinkles” on them. I try to capture more than just how your pet looks, I aim to capture who they are. Whether it’s the way they tilt their head, their goofy personality, or that quiet, soulful stare — those little details are what make each piece special.
I know pets aren’t “just animals” — they’re family. They’re the ones who greet you at the door, sit with you on hard days, and somehow understand you without words. Being able to turn that bond into something you can hang on your wall forever is honestly the best part of what I do.
Each portrait is carefully created from your photos, with attention to detail and a focus on personality. No two pieces are the same — every order is made with intention, care, and a lot of love.
When I’m not drawing I’m drinking WAY too much coffee and attempting to mother my two small children who are my world.
